Prime Minister disappointed with the Medias (video)

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinhe was critical with the the conduct of electronic and print media when reporting certain incidents.

He was thoroughly disappointed in the manner in which media had reported the recent Embilipitiya and Homagama Court incidents. He asked,why leading Medias failed to write editorials.Lawyers Association condemned the incidents at Homagama magistrate Court. Did the so called leading  papers give priority for this news. I can point my finger at Lankadeepa, Rivira, Devaina etc. and say that you all are rousing communal tension. Even they don’t spare National Day celebrations.

He accused certain media organizations of arousing ‘racism’ and ‘hunting’. “Don’t go hunting. That is not right,” he said.
