Colombo-Ratnapura Expressway Work to Start Within One Year
Ratnapura expressway construction was decided to launch within a year from now at the District Coordination Committee meeting.
It was discussed that the proposed expressway will provide transportation facilities to people who live in Colombo, Badulla, and Kalutara Districts since it would only take an hour to reach Colombo from Ratnapura through the expressway.
However the expressway is proposed to be constructed from Kahatuduwa to Ratnapura via Horana, Ingiriya, Kiriella, Kuruwita, Ratnapura, and Palmadulla.
