Namal Claims that “Rajapaksa Family Had No Ownership in CSN

Namal Rajapakshe, MP and son of former President Mahinda Rajapakshe participated  in  a TV  political programme aired by a private TV Channel. During the programme, he  that his family does not hold any rights in  Carlton Sports Network.

The only connection Yoshitha Rajapaksa had with CSN channel was his girlfriend, who was then  working there, Namal Rajapaksa said. Yoshitha used to frequently visit the company and provided support to any person, who sought a favour, Rajapaksa said.

“Anyone would provide support, if their girlfriend asks a favour”, the Parliamentarian said. Rajapaksas have helped a lot of people, he added.

Namal Rajapaksa further pointed out that Rajapaksas do not have copyrights for the name ‘Carlton’ thus anyone can use it for any purpose.
