Shashi Weerawansa’s Passport Cheating Case
Shashi Weerawansa, wife of former Minister Wimal Weerawansa was charged with submitting false forged document and obtained passport. Police has completed inquiry and filed action in Colombo Magistrate court.
When the case was taken up for inquiry before the Colombo Magistrate today (30), Shashi Weerawansa has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Followed by this, the Colombo Magistrate has fixed the case for inquiry on 25th November 2016.
