New Houses For 100 Families to be Handed Over by the President Today

Presient Maithripala Sirisen is scheduled to  hand over  100  new houses to the beneficiaries. In addition President Sirisena is also expected to release 454 acres of private lands which was under the custody of the Sri Lanka Army to the original owners today.

In this connection the Secretary to the Ministry of Resettlement and Rehabilitation V .Sivagnanasothy said, the initiative demonstrates the commitment of the President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe to establish a sustainable reconciliation and permanent peace in the country.
