Secret Army Unit Not Functioned During Mahinda’s Regime

Former  National  Intelligence Bureau  Head  Kapila Hendavitarana said, that  there was no  secret Army group functioned during Mahinda’s regime. If there was such a group , Army Commander  and he  himself  should have come to known  about it, he revealed it during police investigation.

Further,  he ruled out  the allegation  made by former  Army Commander Sarath Fonseka,   that  there was an Army secret group functioned. If  any such  Army  group  was involved in the attack of  journalists Keith Noyhr,  including the killing of Lasantha Wickrematunga, then Army Commander cannot escape from the responsibility.  He has revealed these things during investigations done on abductions  and murders done during the previous regime.
