Mahinda’s Chief Security Officer’s Case For Hearing

Neville Wanniarachchi was functioned  as Chief Security Officer of former President MP Mahinda Rajapaksa.
For the period 2010 to 2014 while he was  holding the post of Major in the Army, he had failed to declared his assets as per requirement. Based on  complaint made by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, he was charged in the courts for not declaring  his assets during the period mentioned above.
When the case was taken up today by Colombo Additional Magistrate Aruni Atigala , she has decided to hear the case and fixed inquiry on  1st August 2017.
