President Ordered Ministers to Visit & Assist Flood & Landslide Victims

President Maithripala Sirisena has ordered Ministers to visit and assist flood and landslide victims.

 President reviewed  relief measures under  taken up to now and expressed his satisfaction . He acknowledged services  rendered by Tri forces , Divisional Secretaries of 5 districts and officers working under them . Rs 200per person  allocated to  flood victims has been increased to Rs 300 by the President.  Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe has allocated Rs 2000 million for flood  relief work.Review was done at the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday,Minister  Mahinda Samarasinghe has revealed this to the press.
