The possibility for increasing the wind speed over the island (Particularly in the central hills, Northern, North-central, Central, Uva and Southern provinces and in the Batticaloa and Ampara districts), Western and Southern sea areas is still persist.

Showers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.

Several spells of showers will occur in the North-western province.

Fairly heavy falls (about 75mm) can be expected at some places in the Ratnapura, Kegalle, Kandy, Galle, Matara and Kaluthara districts.
