SLFP 96 MPs Ready to Vote in Favour of No Confidence Motion Against Ravi – Mahindananda

While participating in a Srilanka Podujana Peramuna membership raising event held in Ginegaththena Hotel, Joint opposition MP Mahindananda Aluthgamage said, that ninety six (96) SLFP members of parliament have expressed their willingness to vote in favour of the no confidence motion brought against former Finance Minister cum current Foreign Minister Ravi Karunanayake by the Joint opposition in parliament.
Further, he said that many UNP members of parliament too have told him , that they will abstain from voting. Hence, he expressed his confidence in getting it passed in parliament. In the meantime , former President Mahinda Rajapakshe while answering a question by a journalist said, that he has not participated in any voting in parliament in the past and he will abstain from voting in the case of no confidence motion against Ravi too. Further he said, it was brought by the Jo and they know how to gather support for it.
