Followed by sexual misuse accusation made against the Principal in charge of the training division of Moratuwa German Technical institute and relevant sexual misuse video clippings were displayed in social media,and the Institute’s administration failed to take appropriate steps against him,old students of the Moratuwa German Technical Institute agitated action to safeguard the good name of the Institute. Hence, the Principal in charge of the training division, Shantha Karunaratne has resigned from his post. Relevant line ministry secretary P.Ranepura said, steps have been taken to appoint an acting principal for the training division.
