Thilak Marapana to Replace Ravi As Foreign Minister?

Party leaders meets today in Parliament  to decide  on No confidence Motion submitted against Foreign Minister Ravi Karunanayake by the Joint  Opposition.

In case, if party leaders decide to take no confidence motion for debate, Foreign Minister Ravi Karunanayake is expected  to resign his portfolio as Foreign Minister and pave way  for the  Independent Parliamentary  debate  and  conduct of   the Central Bank Bond  Commission.

Minister of Development  works , Thilak Marapana  is  tipped  to take over  the portfolio of Foreign Ministry  temporarily until completion of the  no confidence motion and  CB bond inquiry, an English media reported.
