Poor Response at Language Teaching Class for Members of Parliament

Minister Mano Ganeshan submitted a cabinet paper and got approved to conduct language (Sinhala & Tamil) class with special tutes and got it approved.
In response to the call, only 40 members of parliament out of 225 registered to participate in language classes.
Language classes are arranged on every Thursday from 900 to 1000 hrs in parliament. Inauguration class was  held yesterday (11) in parliament. This class was inaugurated  by the Chairman of the National language education and training institute, Chandana  Arumadevan yesterday.The Director General Prasath R.Herath too was present. Only 12 members of parliament  attended the class yesterday (11).
