Ryan Jayalath Remanded
As Convener of the Medical Faculty Students Action Committee Ryan Jayalath has failed to appear before the Court in connection with the case regarding forcibly entering the Ministry of Health on June 21 and for damaging public property, arrest warrants have been issued on him and 4 others on 10th August 2017 .
He surrendered before the Colombo Maligaganda Magistrate Court along with his lawyers. The Maligaganda Magistrate has ordered to remand him till 23rd August 2017.
