DIG Latheef  Assigned with the Task of Combating Organized Crime & Drug Menace

Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said, that  the Commanding officer of the  Police Special Task Force, Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police, Latheef  has been assigned  with the task of combating organized crime and drug menace.

Police Spokesman further said, that suspects arrested during raids and drugs confiscated will be produced before respective area Courts of Law after checking the  authenticity of the drug by the Government analyst.
