Namal Slams IGP

Hambantota MP Namal Rajapaksa,  while addressing an event in Galkissa slammed IGP Poojith Jeyasundara  for pulling the shirt collar of his two employees, video of which went viral in social media. If any similar incident  is caused by the members of the Joint Opposition, by this time they would have completed taking police action. Recently a video  depicting  a woman attacking a child went viral in social media and prompt action taken by  the police. Why can’t  action be taken against the IGP in the same vigour? he questioned.

 Further he said, IGP Poojith Jeyasundara   has no  moral  rights  to continue in the post. He should apologize to the two employees.  He insisted that  Poojith Jeyasundara  should resign from the IGP post.
