Mystery Revolves Round  Resignation of Standing Procurement Committee Chairman & a Member

The Cabinet of Ministers appointed five members to the Standing Procurement Committee to ensure transparency in the government’s procurement process.
The Chairman G. S Withanage and another member of the Standing Procurement Committee have submitted their resignation  to the Secretary to the Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy Suren Batagoda.
Although the two members  said to have submitted their resignations  citing personal reasons, mystery revolves  round their resignations.
The resignations have been informed to the Secretary of the Ministry of Finance.
