Ranjan Ramanayake Seeks  Deputy Minister of Justice Post

While speaking to the press after UNP Central  Working Committee  meeting yesterday, Deputy Minister of Social Empowerment, Ranjan Ramanayake said, that 99% of the UNP members are against  Minister of Justice Wijedasa Rajapaksa. If he resigns from his portfolio, give it to Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka or Ajith P. Perera and the Deputy Minister post to me.

Further he said, that Wijedasa Rajapaksa is most suitable to be given the Ministry of Women Affairs .  He will be able to run it efficiently .

Justice Ministry should be given to a straight forward person , who will not bent down or enter in to deals with thieves. He or she should be able to bring the culprits to book and send them to  jail.
