President to Discuss Controversial SAITM Issue Tomorrow

The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) said yesterday,   a crucial discussion will  be held with President Maithripala Sirisena tomorrow in connection with the  controversial  SAITM issue.

GMOA Secretary Dr. Haritha Aluthge said, all stakeholders will be present at the meeting and we hope the President will give us a reasonable solution to SAITM  issue.

He said they had requested the President to issue a gazette notice suspending student enrolment by SAITM.
