Water Cut in Several Areas

The water supply to several regions would be cut off owing to an unexpected failure of a main water distribution pipe, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board announced . The pipe in question is responsible for the distribution of water from the Kalatuwawa Reservoir.

Accordingly areas affected are Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa, Kottawa, Pannipitiya, Rukmalgama, Pelenwatta, Maththegoda, Homagama, Meepe and Padukka . The water cut will remain in place till 4.00 am tomorrow (29).
