Tiran Alles Permitted to Travel Abroad
A court case was filed against former MP Tiran Alles for misusing Rs.200 million that was provided to built houses for tsunami affected people in the Northern region . Although money was obtained not a single house was constructed for them. The case was dragging on for years .
Meanwhile former MP Tiran Alles made an application in the Colombo High Court to grant him permission to travel abroad.
The Colombo High Court today granted permission to travel abroad from 16th September , to October 16. The High Court also ordered that immigration and emigration officers be informed of Mr.Alles’ temporary travel permission period. It was also decided to resume the hearing of his case on October 20.
