A Special Discussion Between President & SLFPers to Tonight
A special discussion has been arranged between President Maithripala Sirisena and Ministers and MPs of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party at the President’s official residence at 8pm.
Minister of Skills Development and Vocational Training Chandima Weerakkody stated that the discussion will focus on the present political situation, 20th amendment to the constitution and the upcoming Local Government Election.
When asked about certain SLFP Ministers attempt to leave the present government, Minister Weerakkody said that the group threatening to quit will also participate in the discussion.
Accordingly, he said there is a possibility of discussing their stance as well
