Mahinda Advised Lalith Weeratunga to stop issuing Sil Cloth on the verge of Presidential Election?

Sources closer to the Chairman of the Election Commission , Mahinda Deshapriya said, that  Mahinda has advised/ required Mahinda Rajapakshe’s former Secretary, Lalith Weeratunga to stop issuing Sil Cloth to public as the act violated election regulations.

 A written letter said to have been sent to Lalith Weeratunga by Mahinda Deshapriya then. But the former Secretary Lalith Weeratunga has ignored it. Now he pays the price for it, political observers says.
