Loss of 40 M Per Month Complained to FCID by CEB Workers
The Joint Trade Union Federation of the Ceylon Electricity Board General Secretary, Ranjan Jayalal revealed that a fraud amounting to Rs. 40 million per month has been taking place in the Board.
The CEB workers have launched a strike demanding solutions to their salary anomalies. The Government responded by cancelling the leave of all the workers until 20th of September to maintain essential services.
The Joint Trade Union Federation of the Ceylon Electricity Board filed a complaint with the Financial Crimes Investigation Division in connection with an ongoing alleged massive financial fraud in the Board.
