Fund Raising  Campaign to  Pay Fines of Lalith & Anusha Commenced

The  Buddhist monks in Srilanka organized  a fund  raising campaign to pay fines of former Presidential Secretary Lalith Weeratunga and former Telecommunications Regulatory Commission Director General Anusha Palpita, who serves three years prison  terms.

This fund raising is named as Pindapatha tour will start from the Sambuddhaloka Viharaya in Fort Colombo today. The Buddhist monks will tour in the streets of the city to collect funds to pay fines. They plan to tour other areas of the island tomorrow and day after.
