Colombo International Book Fair 2017  is being  inaugurated   by the President Maithripala Sirisena at the BMICH  today. This book fair will continue until 24^th September 2017.  Opposition Leader R. Sampanthan and Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam  will also participate  in this event.

Ceylon book publishers association  has organized this Colombo International Book Fair 2017  for the 19^th year.  More than 400  book publishers of local and international  reputation  have established their  stalls at this fair.
