Wife’s Condition Reformed Husband

In a village closer to Siyambalanduwa, a villager was engaged in manufacturing and selling kasippu for a long time. Police caught him red handed and sent him to remand prison. As the suspect pleaded that he will not engaged in kasippu business in future, police has not objected to release him on bail. But no one came forward to sign his bail documents. When police invited his wife, she came there and placed a condition that he should undertake not to manufacture or sell kasippu in future. The husband has agreed for it and got released on bail.
Immediately after his release, he went back to the place, wherever he manufactured kasippu and destroyed all tools used for production of kasippu. Further he burned the hut.
Thereafter, he proceeded to the close Buddhist Temple, bent down and pleaded before the Chief Buddhist Monk to forgive him and gave him the solemn promise that he shall not return back to his kasippu business at all.
