Deposed Arundika Fernando Crossed Over to Opposition Seat
Deputy Minister of Tourism Development and Christian Affairs , UPFA MP Arundika Fernando was removed from his portfolio on 12th September. Since then he was stating publicly that he won’t rest until this government is sent home . However, he was seen in a public function along with the President Maithripala Sirisena. He denied having any deal with President and stated that he went there to get his reduced Security back.
Thereafter, he said that he would extend his fullest support to the Joint Opposition and help them topple the government.
Today after making a statement in Parliament he walked and sat on an Opposition bench in Parliament
