Appeal Court Case Against Wigneswaran on 3rd October
The petition filed by former Minister of the Northern Province Fisheries, Transport, Trade and Commerce, Rural Development, Road Development and Motor Traffic of the Northern Province Deniswaran was taken for inquiry yesterday . The Appeal Court decided to take the case for trial on 3rd October 2017.
Along with NPC Chief Minister C.V. Wigneswaran, Northern Province Governor Reginald Cooray and 5 others are cited as defendants.
Deniswaran challenged the removal of his portfolio and prayed for interim injunction against the decision of the Northern Province Chief Minister.
