Blamed Central Provincial Education Secretary Promoted as Chief Secretary of the Uva Province

In a meeting called yesterday (25) by the Central Province Governor, NilukaEkanayake at Kandy to probe Osari Pota Row, Central Provincial Education Secretary was accused by the Governor for approving the participation of schoolchildren in a Guinness record attempt. She said, that Central Provincial Education Secretary should be held responsible and not the Chief Minister.

Blamed Central Provincial Education Secretary P. P. Wijeratne,  reported to have been promoted as the Chief Secretary of the Uva Province and he is assuming duties today.
