Minister of Law &  Order Decided to Provide Quality Uniform to Policemen

After examining  the samples of police uniform ,Minister of Law and Order Sagala Ratnayake directed the authorities to submit a report on issuing standard uniforms , caps and shoes to policemen. Same quality cloth  should be utilized for uniforms  to the IGP and down to the constable, Sagala insisted.

Further he directed stitching police uniform should be brought under direct supervision of respective police officers in charge of each police stations.
