Online Database for Paddy & Rice to be Introduced

In order to facilitate decision makers regarding paddy and rice stocks, a database will be established. Anyone can access to this online database  to find out the quantity of paddy and rice available in the country and the actual need to supplement by way of imports.

The database will include data on the extent of paddy: cultivable, actually cultivated in any season, harvested stocks available, stock purchased by the Paddy Marketing Board, pledged loans granted by Banks, and import and export figures.
