Upward Revision of Rail Freight Transportation Charges….

Rail freight transportation charges were not revised for over 9 years since 2008. The Department of railway announced that rail charges for transportation of goods by train will be increased by 50% from tomorrow (1) .

This increase is applicable only for the transportation of commercial goods.
