Buddhist Monk Took Bucher Shop Tender?

Kakupahana Seladelaramaya Vihara Buddhist monk, Vihardipathi Mavidda Gnanaratna Thera had purchased a butcher shop  for Rs 3,225.622 through  a tender submitted by him, which was earlier run  by the Maddugama Pradesha Sabha.
Rev.Gnanaratna Thera explained the circumstances, under which he took the tender thus “We Buddhist monks got together and took a decision to close down all butcher shops in Maddugama. We requested the Pradesha Sabha Officers to do it.  Acoording to urban local rules and regulations it cannot be done, they said. Hence, we decided to submit our tender to obtain it and close down butcher shop in Maddugama. Further, he said that the Divisional Secretary has told him that by taking the butcher shop tender, it cannot be closed.
