Political Prisoners: Jaffna Uni .Students Demonstration Tomorrow

Jaffna University community keeps on carrying out continuous demonstrations drawing the attention of the authorities concerned to address the request of Jaffna political prisoners and their release from prison.

Despite several promises made at different stages by government politicians as well as opposition politicians, nothing fruitful has been done to date. Hence, Jaffna University students determined to intensify the struggle demanding reasonable solution for Tamil poetical prisoner’s requests. In this connection they have decided to go on a demonstration rally tomorrow (14). The rally is scheduled to commence in front of the Jaffna University entrance.
University Students assured that the demonstration rally will be carried out without disturbing academic activities of the students.
