Sea Pigs Appeared After 10 years

10 years ago a sea pig was surfaced in Sothupitiya Vaadi area. Thereafter in the year 2016 dead body of a sea pig was detected on the beach of Mannar.

Now a herd of Sea pigs had been identified by Kalpitiya fishermen in Kalpitiya Sea. Srilanka wild life department, NARA Organisation, IUCU organisation and the organisation to protect sea tortoise have launched a search operation to detect this herd of sea pigs in Kalpitiya Sea.
