Speaker Approves to Probe COPE Information Sheet Leakage

New information has surfaced that the members of the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) reported to have secretly leaked information sheet of the COPE to undisclosed individuals.

Under these circumstances , MP C.B.Ratnayake has made a request from the speaker during parliamentary proceedings today (17) to probe this matter.  In response the Speaker of Parliament Karu Jayasuriya stated that an investigation will be conducted into the alleged incident.
