BBS Gnanasara Thera Threatened to Smash the Head of a Journalist?

Mother of a Buddhist monk died in Narammala. Ven.Galagoda Atte Gnanasara Thero  attended the funeral house. Where he identified Colombo correspondent of the Island news Paper. He called him to his side and asked “are you the Chandra Prema? And proceeded stating that I know the book you have written. I would smash your head, he threatened.

Journalist did not leave the place, but started arguing with him. Since arguments developed into a tense situation, other Buddhist monks took the journalist away from the scene saving him from the wrath of Gnanasara Thera.
