Basil’s Divi Neguma Almanacs Case to be Heard on 24th

The Court of Appeal said, that  the verdict pertaining to transferring the case of almanacs of the Divi Neguma Department from the Colombo High Court to another Court will be issued on the 24th of November.

The petition was filed by the second witness of the case Former Minister Basil Rajapaksa.

A verdict on the transfer will be issued on the 24th of November stating whether or not an interim injunction will be issued against hearing the case after taking into consideration facts at hand.

The petition was taken up for hearing before a two member bench including the Chairman of the Appeals Court.

Meanwhile the case pertaining to the Divi Neguma almanacs will be taken up for hearing once again at the Colombo High Court on the 24th of November.
