Showery condition over the island is expected to enhance particularly in the Northern, Eastern and North-central provinces during next few days.

Cloudy skies are expected over the island.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Eastern,Uva and Southern provinces.

Showers or thundershowers will occur atfew places in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces after 2.00p.m.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, North-western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces during the morning.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
