256 million incurred in engaging 3 Foreign Advisers to the Commission appointed by Mahinda to inquire into Missing Persons?

Special investigation team of the Auditor General’s department examining the past activities of the Central Bank has found out that 256 million had been spent to meet the expenses, which included accommodation and remuneration to three foreign advisers appointed to assist the Commission appointed to inquire into complaints made by relatives of the missing persons.
By Gazette notice no 1871/18 of 15th July 2014, all three foreign advisors were appointed.
Without any reimbursement arrangement, former president Mahinda Rajapakshe had ordered former Governor of Central Bank Ajith Niwad Kabral to make the payment.
There was no agreement what so ever between the foreigners and Srilanka.
