Melbourne Court Sentenced a Srilankan Plane Hijacker for 20 years Imprisonment?

During the last April a Srilankan travelling in Malesia Airways MH 128 from Melbourne to Kulalampur threatened the passengers, stating that he is holding a bomb. He had in his possession a device and shown it to the passengers as a bomb.   After the takeover he tried to enter the cockpit.
Passengers who have observed his behaviour over powered him and tied him to the plane seat. Plane was brought back to the Melbourne airport. Plane hijacker was identified as 25 year old Srilankan Manoth Marks by the police. During police investigation they found that he is a mentally retarded person and the object he was holding is a Bluetooth.
Melbourne court has sentenced him for 20 years jail term   yesterday (7).
