Weather Forecast For 29th December 2017

Mainly fair weather will prevail over most provinces of the island.

However, Showers or thundershowers may occur at few places in Kaluthara, Ratnapura,Galle and Matara districts after 2.00pm.

Fairly strong gusty wind (40-50 kmph) can be expected in Ampara, Hambanthota and Monaragala districts.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwaand Central provinces during the morning.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
