Tsunami advisory issued after Magnitude 7.6 Earthquake Strikes Near Great Swan Island, Honduras

The United States Geological Survey reports a preliminary magnitude 7.6 earthquake struck near Great Swan Island, Honduras on Tuesday.
The US National Weather Service has issued a tsunami advisory for the coasts of the Cayman Islands, Jamaica, Mexico, Honduras, Cuba, Belize, San Andres, Costa Rica, Panama, Nicaragua and Guatemala following a 7.6-magnitude earthquake off the coast of Honduras.
The quake hit at 8:51 PM local time at a depth of 10 kilometers.
