No One Willing to Listen to Sermons of an Actress of the Yester Year?

A film actress of the yester year now taken to active politics in a big way in Srilanka was asked to address propaganda meetings of the party she represents by it’s leaders. They thought she could attracted crowd. Hence, she appeared on platforms of party candidates contesting the upcoming local government elections.

When she started addressing, the crowds at these meetings begin to thin out. Little by little people started leaving one by one and in groups. Her liberate life style had made an impact on our tradition, culture and moral values. Hence, people developed hatred towards her. No one is prepared to listen to her sermons on morals. Her appearance an addressing crowd has become counter effective at last.
