More Buses on Southern Expressway

Selected for the Southern Expressway according to the tender procedure. Around 140 buses have already obtained permanent permits to operate on the Southern Expressway.

The Chairman of the National Transport Commission, M.A.P. Hemachandra, said, by strictly following the tender procedure twenty-one buses have been selected to operate on the expressway for a period of five years.

However, he added that if the bus permits are not collected by January 19, the buses will not be allowed to run on the expressway.
