Train Strike Called Off

The train strike launched by the Locomotive Operating Engineers’ Union and Railway Guards last midnight has been suspended.

Following a discussion with General Manager of Sri Lanka Railways S. M. Abeywickrema this morning,  Locomotive Operating Engineers’ Union have decided to call off the strike.
