To Mark the 70th Independence Day of Srilanka, Prices of 7 Essential Goods Reduced – Rishad
To mark the 70th Independence Day of Srilanka, the Minister of Industry and Commerce Rishad Bathiudeen has taken steps to reduce prices of seven essential goods with immediate effect. Price reduced essential goods are:
Basmathi rice – Rs. 120 per Kg
White Raw rice – Rs. 60 per Kg
Broken rice – Rs. 59 per Kg
Dhal – Rs. 159 per Kg
Green gram – Rs, 195 per Kg
Big onion – Rs. 110 per Kg
Dried chillies – Rs. 220 per Kg
Minister Rishad Bathiudeen said that these 7 essential goods will be sold at reduced above prices in all CWE (Sathosa) branches up to 7th February 2018.
