Ranil Jayawardena Appointed UK Trade Envoy to Sri Lanka

The British High Commission in Colombo said, that  Ranil Jayawardena was appointed as the trade envoy for Sri Lanka by British Prime Minister Theresa May.

Jayawardena will pay an official visit to Sri Lanka on February 15 till 17 to meet with senior government officials in order to enhance trade and investment ties between the two countries.

Jayawardena is a Member of Parliament of North East Hampshire in May 2015 and was re-elected in 2017 election.
