A Special Meeting of UNP Parliamentary Group Will Convene Today.

A special meeting of United National Party Parliamentary group will be held at the Temple Trees with party leader Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe set to Chair the meeting today (13).

This  meeting will focus on the results of the 2018 Local Authority Election and the party’s’ future plans, Parliamentarian Harshana Rajakaruna said.

 In the meantime the leaders of the United National Front also held a meeting yesterday Chaired by the Prime Minister.

Furthermore a special discussion between President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe took place last night at the President’s official residence.
